Every year the Boy Scouts of America coordinates Scouting For Food. Each Den is assigned a particular geographic area to put out collection flyers, and on a certain date, revisits those houses to collect bags of food for those in need. Pack 178 collects food in the Ahwatukee area and the food is donated to a local area food bank, helping those closest to the Pack’s community. Pack 178 has managed to collect 3,000 pounds or of food to donate during our annual Scouting for Food collection
