Pack 178 participates two parades per year, the Ahwatukee Easter Parade and a Veteran’s Day Parade (Phoenix or Mesa).  These are wonderful experiences for Scouts, letting them interact with the communities they are a part of while participating in a community wide event.

Many times our parade “float” is a 1983 American General M35A2 Deuce and a Half truck and a 1967 OH6A Cayuse helicopter. These incredible tributes to our military are owned by Dr. Baron Smith and Kathy Smith, whom are extended members of our Pack.  Of course when the cool ride is off serving other duties the Pack participates the old fashion way and enjoys a healthy walk!
